– many celebrate celebrities meanwhile overlooking the brilliance of their talented friends, close-by artists, as if their gifts were average and/or less worth noting.

I’m not of that grouping, maybe because as an artist myself I know how that makes one feel.

I choose to celebrate those people who I can touch, call, email and communicate with that actually know my name and can even get a real response from.

I see you all, all of my friends and family that are noble, aspiring, successful, resilient, doing work that counts and contributing to the whole. I see you. You’re a celebrity to me.
