Day 45, half way to 90 days which will be nearly 1/4 of the way to the Awards Ceremony of 2011. I’ve been behind on my blog updates as I find other things that are much more important to do on the weekend, like soccer with the boys or Bust-a-Move Family Tournament Gameplay. We’ve all been kickin’ each others butt in Bust-a-Move, in what sometimes becomes very intense battles when you’re trying to NOT lose to a 5 and 8 year old.
This leads me to an artist who’s been somewhat forgotten about, but played a responsible role in driving Hip Hop further into the fiber of the Pop culture with his hit song “Bust a Move.” Check out Young MC rocking a tux in the 90′s that looks like he can fit right in with these hipsters of today that think they are doing something new. He won the Best Rap Performance Grammy in 1990 for “Bust A Move” and hasn’t really bust the same move since.
(Above: tee is much more yellow than appears here)
The Big Tees are no longer a “tease” and we’re delivering them hotcake style, oven mitten not included.
This particular tee is called “The Kang”, or “King” with southern twang… and today we’re playing by the “Kang’s Rools.” That’s right..The KANGS ROOLS!!!
Rool# 1 – Visit the online store today and check the goodies daily. Buy!
No other Rools seem necessary at this point, so do “first things first, second things never.”
Detail of the Blue “Kang” tee.
Also, we hope that you enjoy these other fresh tees right from the Bakery! Eat em’ up!
What does this Obama tee have to do with my music? Nothing really, besides that fact that it’s “FRESH”
and I’m down for some change too. Can we have everybody rocking this tee in a few weeks?? YES…WE..CAN!!
Currently only available in red! Get one!
Also, the Billy Drease face logo tee is now available in bright, eye catching colors.
Big shouts to Ivy and Goldi. I appreciate yall..I DO!!!
The I LIKE IT tees are still hittin’ em and becoming more appropriate and stylish as the summer heats up. Leta, a young lady from Toronto who bought a shirt at the Levack Block show earlier this year, put her creative hands to work and scissored the I LIKE IT shirt to a sexy, unique design all her own. The back is cut out and only held together by thinly cut strips of the shirt itself. GO LETA!! GO LETA!!
For the ladies worried about a shirt no fitting them correctly, talk to Leta and maybe she can hook you up
And for the suspect fellas who want a shirt like the one above…”DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!”
Buttons are always in style. I personally love buttons, but as to exactly why…I’m not quite sure. But if I had to give my FINAL answer as if money depended on it, I would have to say I like the sound that they make when you tap on them or wiggle them…that little rattle, jigglin’ sound. And for obvious reasons many people like buttons for what they say or convey through image and word.
The I LIKE IT buttons and the DOPE 45 drawing buttons will be available soon, and you TOO can cover your book bag, or carry straps with cool looking and cool “jiggly” sounding buttons all made personally by Edreys and Big Lex!!
Peace
Ya jigglin baby!!
BTW: These will be the big fat, hard to miss, hard to lose 2″ circle buttons.
Props to Trev for stylizing the “Rassler” button.
