[Luke's on the right]
Day 68, more mistakes, more triumphs, leading to less confusion more focus towards a personal definition of success. May you find your purpose and passion at any given second of the brand new cache of 86, 400 seconds we’re blessed with each day. Each second is an opportunity to change your life and find the your path.
Speaking of finding personal paths, today, I just want to recognize a young man or the 6th Grade man-child known as X to his loved-ones but is gaining notoriety for his alter-ego, Luke Flywalker. He’s got a “fly” name and a style to match. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this young man since he was born, as he is the oldest son of one of my best friends. X aka Luke, is an incredibly resilient child, who’s met more challenges head-on and face to face than many adults could bare to deal with. I think while most people would bend, bow or break under the pressures that life can impress upon us, this guy has somehow found the “incredible hulk” gene, where he has only gotten stronger physically, gained the wisdom of an old soul that may have been here before and exudes confidence of a seasoned veteran.
He’s multi-talented, as he likes drawing, writing his own raps, telling jokes and is hip with the latest trends in fashion and entertainment, but where he shines is on the dance floor. He’s skilled in various disciplines and dance styles, very witty and makes for a tough challenge with his swag and versatility and he’s able to battle against competitors of any dance style by taking their “best” moves and throwing them right back at them with some signature moves of his own that bring the crowds to their feet. I could go on and on about this young brother, but I’ll let LUKE do the talking. Good Luck X. Use the force!
