SILENCE IS DEADLY

WOW! Message well-taken. Take action!!

LIFE’S SOUNDTRACK

One of my favorite West Coast rappers. By far one of the best story-tellers in Hip Hop outside of Slick Rick, Nas and Scarface of course. But no one can say that they “penned” the lead off and most memorable track for two of the most gang and street depicting movies of the century. “Boys N the Hood” and “Menace to Society.”
Geaaaah!!!

FRIENDS

elfrank

One of my favorite emcees, my brother-in-arms, Elgin Franklyn setting it off the right way at Broadway Joe’s. He is currently working on his album. You’ll get a kick out of his marketing pitch when he launches his campaign. Get the FREE download of his debut single here. Produced by ummm…ME….

Also, here is video footage of some long-time associates of mine, Stockbridge. The sound is a bit distorted as I was standing right in the front.

FEB.10 – MARKS 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

For those of you hip hop enthusiasts, i’m doing this less than a week in advance, but I would like to tip my hat to one of the most creative and brilliant producers the industry has ever seen. Taken early from the world, the genius of James “J-Dilla” Yancey lives forever. He would have been 34 on Feb. 7.

Those of you that are familiar with his body of work and his craft, do yourself a favor and read the following first-hand account from Roots Crew member, QuestLove as J-Dilla makes a beat. HERE!!
