Mr. D...aka Mr. "Everything is very serious as head of security at art gallery." I remember when the "terror" alert and all the boogie man stories were brewing right around the time of the war, and he was saying at a meeting.."The gallery is pretty secure. We have an evacuation in place etc..although, the air duct system is vulnerable to terrorists." I remember laughing and thinkin'.."What terrorist organization would come to Buffalo and crawl the air ducts of the Gallery, and for what?" Thats by buddy though...Ed's a cool dude, and we need people like him, a person who takes his job VERY seriously even without a pistol. Which makes me think, non of the guards have firearms...so IF a terrorist WERE to crawl through the air ducts...hmmm...better call in the MEANEST Docents... Haaa! I love San Fran too--hard not to--checked out MOMA also back in Spring '04. Did you go to the deYoung? Alot of rave reviews about its architecture. I have not been.
