FRIENDS…

PHOTOGRAPHER

This morning as I was listening to the Tom Joyner Morning Show, I heard Tavis Smiley drop this gem, “You are capable of doing all things, but you can’t do everything.” We ARE capable of doing all things, but we CAN’T do everything, by OURSELVES that is. So with the help of some friends, we recently pulled off a pretty successful photo shoot at a very visible, yet untapped location right here in Buffalo. Here’s how it went down: Trev Thorne, (my friend) figured it was time for new photos. So through Maisha (Trev’s wife), Rich B. (maisha’s friend) was recommended as the photographer for the engagement. After discussions on the setting/locations, we kinda’ came up dry and I wasn’t that excited about shooting in the typical locations. So, Tom (my other friend) suggested a really cool site off the beaten path, but still in plain sight oddly enough.

Long story made short…Rich, Trev and I met at the secret location and right away, we were all incredibly impressed with the atmosphere and setting of the location that we didn’t need to go any other place. Rich has a great eye and command of the given space and his equipment. REAL dope!
Check out his work! Thanks Trev, Rich, Maisha and Tom!
peace

ps…here’s a throwback…dedicated to my friends!!! Peep the beginning!!!

ALL I GOTS to SAY is….if YOU don’t wear that EXACT same outfit on stage at one of your shows…I will no longer be a fan! LOL!!!
I need you in some white shorts and a leather jacket: Pronto.

This is an exciting time in life. It’s stress filled and uncertain, but I think if we play our cards right, we’ll look back and say our thirties were great. Especially WHEN not IF we maintain our precious friendship.

    Luv u.
